Description of intervention(s) / exposure
Cross-sectional study with a sample of convenience of 70 participants of the Project for the Promotion of Health of the Elderly. Photogrammetry and flexicurve method were used to evaluate the standard posture of the volunteers. The level of older women’s physical activity was evaluated by the International Physical Activity Questionnaire. Single 90 minute assessment session was performed. the overall duration of this trial was 8 months.

Inclusion criteria: elderly aged or over 60 years, being a participant of the Project for the Promotion of Health of the Elderly of Catholic University of Brasilia; take part in the research and complete the Informed Consent and to their voluntary participation in research .

Exclusion criteria: having cognitive impairment; take drugs that influence and / or impossible to maintain the standing position and postural control such as psychotropic, anxiolytic and / or anticholinergics; have disease or injury that influence and / or impossible to maintain the standing position and postural control, have been treated in some orthopedic surgery that influences and / or interfere with the posture of a result of the sequel (s) from the same; pain to maintain the standing position during the time postural assessment, have signs of depression have congenital deformity and / or acquired.
