Intervention/exposure
Study type
Interventional
Description of intervention(s) / exposure
in order to investigate accelerating tooth movement ,participant will be instructed to use an electric toothbrush with vibrating head (90 HZ) at home on the buccal side of the experimental upper canine for 5 minutes 3 times a day for 3 months. The adherence will be monitored through mobile phone application.

Summary
Brief summary
the length of orthodontic treatment is one of the main concerns to patients and dentists due to the adverse effects of prolonged treatment duration therefore numerous procedures to accelerate orthodontic treatment have been introduced in the last few years.
Vibration has been shown to be an easy way to accelerate orthodontic tooth movement using simple devices by patients at home.
the purpose of this study is to investigate whether using an electric toothbrush with vibrating head will accelerate canine retraction in patients requiring the extraction of upper first premolars.
